Ramada by Wyndham Northern Grand Hotel & Conference Centre

I wasn't expecting too much as I'm here for work for a couple of days and hotels in this area are limited. Was surprised though. My room was really clean and stocked with coffee, water, and Dove brand toiletries. The bed was massive and comfortable. The blackout blinds are the best I've ever seen in a hotel and did the trick, I even got to sleep in! The check-in/check-out process was quick. The restaurant was nice. The food was great and the servers were attentive. The free breakfast was hot and beyond my expectations with a good variety. If I was back in the FSJ area, I'd return here.

Very good hotel. Friendly staff, very clean rooms. Very comfortable bed. And bonus was the heated bathroom floor. Small thing but nice not to go into shock stepping on floor after shower

I was honestly surprised by how great this hotel was. We booked it for around $100 and I didn’t expect much, but it completely exceeded our expectations. The location was very convenient, and the room was incredibly clean. The bed was super cozy, which was much appreciated after several long days on the road. The staff were extremely helpful and responsive, which made the stay even better. I also loved the noon checkout option, and it was nice that they offered even later checkout for an additional fee if you needed it. One of the best surprises was the heated bathroom floor — such a nice touch! The bathtub was spotless and perfect for soaking after three days of traveling. Water pressure in the shower was excellent as well. The only downside was a bit of noise outside from slow plowing, but it quieted down around 11 PM and we ended up sleeping great. My husband was also happy he could watch the Sportsman’s Channel! Overall, this place was a fantastic value and I would absolutely stay here again.

My stay at the Ramada Inn Fort St John was fantastic. The hotel is very nice and the staff are very friendly. The restaurant on the main floor is fantastic and has some unique and high-end dishes. I was very impressed with the overall vibe of the restaurant and the quality of the food. My room had a great laid out and was set up with some newer technology so you can pair your devices with the in room TV. Plus the room comes with the TV, fridge, shower toiletries and some other amenities to make your stay more comfortable. The blackout blind system is perfect if you do not want any light and really helped me to have a good night sleep. The hotel does have a gym which happens to be kind of small but it has most of the equipment you need to get a pretty good workout. All in all I really liked my experience at the Ramada and will definitely come back.

Room was great, the door made a lot of noise so had to fix it with a towel to stop the noise. The food from restaurant in house was terrible, the order had items we asked to not be on there the steak was too tough to bite into and was missing a piece of bread for the “sandwich” , salad was soggy. Other than that the heated bathroom floors were a delightful treat.

Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, thanks to Shine and another helpful staff member at reception. They provided detailed information, including the benefits of Wyndham Rewards points, which was a nice touch. The staff were very accommodating—we booked two rooms on the evening of our arrival and were kindly given adjoining rooms with a connecting door, which was perfect for our family. The building felt secure, as room key cards are required to access the elevator—a feature we really appreciated. Coffee and tea were readily available both in the room and in the lobby, and the best part was the complimentary breakfast, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, with plenty of outlets for all our gadgets. My son was even able to connect his Nintendo Switch to the TV. The beds were firm yet comfortable, and the amenities provided covered everything a guest might need. I would highly recommend staying here—it’s a safe, thoughtful, and family-friendly place with excellent service.

It's nothing fancy. BUT, the service was above and beyond. We forgot and left a pillow of our own in the room. When we came looking for it after we checked out, and not only did they have it ready for us, but they washed it and fluffed it and everything. Just genuinely kind and sweet of them.

We were in FSJ for a family wedding. I booked two rooms on line. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When I called prior to travelling the staff addressed my questions professionally. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was great for us. Close to unique local cafes. The exercise room was enjoyed by a couple of the younger generation. The hotel is on a Main Street so traffic noise was present.
